The best part of Rugby is that it's the last "player's game." Coaches aren't on the sidelines, sending in plays, making substitutions, and generally prying into the game's machinations. This is not true of Basketball or Football, where coaching in situ can make or break victory.
In Rugby, it's all up to the players. The ten minute half-time chat can't do much.
In the US health care system, we are the players and your employer and the gov't are the coaches. They are up in the stands, sipping whiskey from a flask, wondering if they made the right selections.
Your employer makes decisions for you. Not only does he tell about the coverage you'll get, but what prescriptions you can fill. And for those who know about reproductive rights issues, your employer can even dictate whether or not you can get a contraceptive!
The Gov't? Oh God, they're useless. Over promising and under delivering. Remember when the "new" coach came in with the super impressive resume, and then he SUCKED! That's the Gov't.
The Game is up to you. You have to make the tackles. You have to recognize the space to put the ball in. You have to play the game.
Buy your own health insurance. It's the only way you'll win.
