Hired Auto Physical Damage: Key for Business Auto/Fleets
Yawn, except for the Rugby player who owns a business that operates a fleet of vehicles.
"Hired Auto Physical Damage" is a must have endorsement on your business auto. A big job comes in, and two trucks go out of commish, and you're under the ruck, boots a flying...
Having Hired Auto Physical Damage gives you a little more peace of mind when renting a vehicle or two to get done what needs to get done. You rent a truck that ends doing damage, and your covered under the policy limits. Remember, this is WAY different than just liability cover. Know the diff?
Rugby players tend to be impatient people, so don't overlook this when reviewing your fleet auto policy.

RuckingInsurance.com 2010 in Review
Here's what RuckingInsurance.com hit the rucks with in 2010:
Personally, I got spend a ton of time with my Son, got into a publishing house for my next travel/history book, worked on my Scifi novel, and have begun writing a screenplay. Physically, I think crossfit is the best system for me, even learning to rack weights! (didn't have the flexibility...)
2011 will be even better. See you in the Rucks!
- Created Association discounts for the UCSF Anesthesia Department providing gender neutral rates with an additional 10% discount. Saves a typical health male about 7% and a typical healthy female about 40%
- Added Group Health Insurance for Rugby employers and businesses that employ Rugby players
- Joined Pacific Alliance Insurance Brokerage part time, working the small and medium sized accounts, in exchange for an office in downtown San Francisco
- Added Licenses in four more states: CO, TN, NJ, and IL
- Added Business Insurance: General Liability, Business Auto, and Workers Comp
- Added Professional Liability Insurance products
- Created the US' first individually enrolled rugby only accident medical expense plan

Why small clubs struggle? Same with small business, too small to be noticed...
Small clubs struggle with Sponsorship and numbers. Why? They are too small to be noticed. Typically, an "Angel" needs to appear. A guy or gal with money to spend on uniforms and field costs, and maybe even a coach. Then, that small club becomes a regional superpower.
The same happens for the small business owner. The hardest quote for me to get is a BOP, or Business Owner Policy. Why? They are typically under $1000, and most "big insurance brokers", (not companies, mind you), don't want to waste their time with something so small.
Stupid, because it's the little ones that grow into big ones. (My average commish is $10 a month for a health insurance policy. But, I have over 500 clients now after 5 years. Get it?)
I'd love to find a company that wants small policies. Little BOPs, General Liabilities for just one professional, or even a Fleet Auto policy for one car.
Where is my "Angel"?
