Of course they are willing to do this. More people means more money. Insurance is about pooling risk. If Health Insurance gets federalized, watch the Big Players drop rates like a nervous fly-half.
Imagine the buying power of a combined CA and TX! I don't know how this would affect health care COST. Could a bigger Insurance company negotiate better prices?
Sadly, Prez O is losing ground because of the economy. Does he have the stroke to pull any significant health care and/or health insurance reform?
