Imagine if EVERYONE played Rugby. The small, wonderful Universe we've created would no longer be as special.
I remember playing sports in Elementary school where every kid had to play the same amount of time. Sucked, because we all knew Susie and Johnnie were freakin' terrible, and would most likely lose the game for us.
In the current Health Care and Health Insurance debate, the Feds (Demos) have made the Insurance industry the Bad Guys. Ergo, the Health Insurers will have to take everybody, and no longer screen out bad risks. This will create shoe string plans that won't cover ORGANIZED Sports.
I just got off the phone with a company out of Arizona. Their Guaranteed Issue Plan is okay, as long as you're not sick, or play in anything more organized than Church Basketball.
It is essential that you ask your Employer if your Health Insurance covers organized sports, like Rugby. Going forward, if you buy a plan, that should be the first question out of your mouth.
The Second: How do I file a claim?
Not Everybody gets to play Rugby, and that's why the Game works.
Unfortunately, a few more humans will be up for a Rucking...
