Very few changes for the HSA portion of the Health Care Bill. Nothing really. You won't be able to apply OTC drugs to your HSA.
No biggie.
However, it's not looking good in Mass. Plus, another state with highly regulated, guarantee issue plans, NY, finds a major hospital in NYC closing.
Solution? I like the idea of a Federal High Risk Pool, and maybe a $10/mo/plan charge on all health insurance plans. Family plan? $10 extra a month, not $40 for the wife and two kids.
Guarantee issue won't work. Period.
