It's the COST, Prop...

Here's frightening list of entities feeling the Health Care COST crunch...

The cost of health care determines health insurance premiums.

How to contain costs:

1. Open pricing. I have no idea what a root canal costs. Or, ACL surgery. Or, 25 stitches. Do you? How many travel sites are there to compare airfares and car rentals? Why not root canals?

2. Nationalize insurance laws: Or, allow competition across state lines. My argument here is that the more people in the pool, the more costs are shared, the lower the premiums.

3. Ph*ck Big Pharma and the ABA: Open market for ALL R/x. Limit medical malpractice lawsuits.

4. Here's my favorite: All health care dollars are pre-tax. Take the HSA list, and you get to spend on whatever, and write it off your income, for tax purposes. I just got the Feds and your State (if you have an income tax), to subsidize a portion of your health care.

Why won't these happen? Because nobody in the game NOW will make money...

It's the COST, Prop...
