Why Health Insurance Plans constantly wink out of existence...

Of the plans I first started selling, none remain in existence. About every 5 years, I've noticed the entire Health Insurance plan structure changes. Older plans are discontinued. Why?

Here's why.

This kinda goes to Health Insurance companies dumping the sick, or, making it too costly. But, that's why there are State Pools.

When I send someone to the State Pool, I get a one-time commission, but not a residual commission with health insurance (a small chunk every month...nice, since $5 chunks x 1,000 = rent and beer).

Is it possible that the sick and poor aren't utilizing the EXISTING programs, because nobody gets a commission? Therefore, the programs aren't marketed?
