Renter's insurance, specifically with Special Form (including theft) is ABSOLUTELY essential and it's silly cheap.
Silly cheap.
Ask your current personal lines (auto, motorcycle, etc.) to tack on Renter's. Why he/she hasn't sold it to you already is anybody's guess?
