Temp Insurance is like that guy just visiting from another club.

Okay, so this good player shows up on a Tuesday, says he's in town for 3-4 weeks. You're the coach, and he's better than your current player at whatever position. Do you risk alienating your loyal player to put this visitor in?

If you think long term....no.

This is the same with Temporary Health Insurance. Super cheap, low deductibles and copays, but here's the kicker.

It's gone in 6 months. And it ain't coming back.

The reason that temporary health insurance is so cheap is because it's NOT renewable. Plus, most policies DO NOT COVER injuries related to organized sports.

Don't play the Visitor. Don't buy temporary health insurance.
