Do you remember the '95 World Cup Final between South Africa and New Zealand?
SA had this Fullback, Andre Joubert. He blasted kicks from mid-field PAST the back of the try zone. The old law was a 22m drop out to defending team. This made for boring Rugby, and the IRB changed the law to a scrum where the ball was kicked if the result of the kick was touch in goal.
The tactic was crap, so Rugby changed the laws. That's a good thing.
Rescission is when an insurance company drops your coverage when they discover that you had a pre-existing condition before you applied for the health insurance. Since all the facts weren't on the table, they leave the table.
So, many bitch and moan about that.
Just like how SA pinned opponents with Andre Joubert's foot.
The SOLUTION: Change the law. Once a contract for health insurance is accepted, it can't be rescinded. Period. End of fucking story.
So, Gov't, change the law...
Rugby did.
