Getting a lot of ARRA Subsidy and COBRA questions. Well, what do subsidies really do in the health care and health insurance arena.

I think it was Jack Kemp who said, "Tax a thing, get less of it. Subsidize a thing, get more of it."
Think of it this way: If I allow some players not to pay club dues, and let them play anyway, how many players will begin to expect the same treatment?
