Workers Comp rates: Getting Kicked Up, Again...
Little claims don't do much, other than raise your ExMod, or close potential workers comp markets to your company. Yes, that's bad, but, you always have SCIF in CA... so that's kinda good...kinda...
The Kickers are SHOCK Losses and the Long Term Disabled... Shock losses are massive claims due to gross injury, paid all at once. LTD can have 1,000s of causes, but ultimately, LTD is a massive claim, but paid out over years and years.
Hopefully, these guys will get it sorted.
