Insurance companies hate people who don't pay their monthlies. In fact, if you allow you premium payments to lapse, causing a cancellation, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO RE-UP!
Example: You allow your health insurance to lapse for 4 months, during the off-season. You either must pay back those months you missed, or apply to another company. Your original company won't take you back, and they will change your MIB record to show that you allowed your insurance to lapse.
Insurance companies need cash flow as much as Rugby Clubs do. However, the insurance companies will drop you from their "a-side" even though your sackless coach won't.
Pay your dues.
