Doctors haven't done housecalls since the 3 point try!
This is a perfect example of a health care professional adapting to new rules, much like we will when refs will ACTUALLY ALLOW me to put my hands in a Ruck. Not that I do that now. ;)
The Health Insurance companies are changing too! Most HSA qualified plans will now cover preventive care on a first dollar basis!
Dr. Parkinson and Health Insurance companies are beginning to see the light at the end of scrum: Consumer Driven Health Care is happening, NOW!
As Ruggers, we tend to be healthy and poor. The best way for us to keep the boots on is to buy and HSA qualified plan and find a local Dr. Parkinson.
Thanks for the post! But just so you know, the other real consumer in health care is the doctor. They are the ones who actually tell you what healthcare to purchase. Drug companies understand this quite well considering all of the money they spend "educating" doctors. That being said, in order to drive down insurance premiums we should start educating doctors about how to spend your money wisely.
